Thanks so much for the suggested chapters from Bowditch. List members
referred me to Chapter 3 yesterday; I read it and found it to be very helpful
for understanding navigation charts. I will definitely refer to the chapters
you suggest as we progress in the course.
You're right -- the course can be daunting, and my background is in English
and communications, not science or math. But I'm struggling along and loving
the subject matter. Thanks to all of you for the help you've provided so far.
And, Aubrey, I'm going to take you up on that offer for help in the future.
