I'm at the point in the puzzle where I'm attempting to reduce the star sight for Fomalhaut #56. My DR is 25d 8.8' S, 039d 59.4' W. Right or wrong, I'll stick to that.
I get GHA Fomalhaut = 1d 24.4'
If my DR long is 039d 59.4' W, what's the LHA of Fomalhaut?
Uh... 039d 59.4' minus 1d 24.4' equal 038d 35.0' So that LHA-Fomalhaut is 359d 60.0' minus 038d 35.0' equal 321d 25.0' Is that it?
My brain is over-jelloed from re-reading the "determining LHA" rules too many times.
I know my next question...armed with the LHA-Fomalhaut, what is the assumed long to produce H-calculated?
I'm making this hump too hard...I should've taken the red pill.
