So long as your destination is no more than 6000 miles away, your "usual"
celestial navigation sight reduction tables can be used to determine a
Great Circle course by simply replacing the Geographical Position of the
celestial body with the Lat/Long of the destination. (For Longitudes East,
the GHA required for the tables will be 360 degrees minus the Longitude).
Turn the handle to produce the azimuth bearing and this will be your Great
Circle course!
