A friend of mine is looking for a place to moor his boat (a C&C 34) for the summers. He's spent the last two years at City Island and would like to move a little further East. His description of what he's looking for is:

    > Maybe you can recommend some sites to find a new home base for Sea
    > Major. Lots of variables are involved, but ultimately I'm looking for a
    > reasonably inexpensive deal. I already own my mooring, so that's a
    > factor. I'm not altogether opposed to having no launch, but then I'd
    > want space for my dink and engine, since I wouldn't want to have to set
    > those up every time we wanted to take a sail.
    >
    > I began this research last year, but on a preliminary basis, I found
    > nothing feasible in New Rochelle, and Mamaroneck was expensive. I'm
    > certain there are decent places and deals out there, and I'm hoping the
    > web will help me from having to physically visit each location, until
    > I've honed in on a location.

If anyone has any ideas, please respond by private email to: rather than tie up the list.
