My Garmin GPS 120, purchased in 1997 has failed - so far the recommendations provided by Garmin have not worked - including the software patch. What is really scary is that it pretended to have locked - when I checked the sat status...no satellites!
A few weeks ago Garmin said that this model would be fine - has anyone heard an explanation as to why there are now so many problems?
My Magellen 2000XL, by the way, locks in perfectly.
