Keep in mind that if the pump is down low you'll have a hose full of water
(7' in this case) between the pump and the exit. Many pumps can suck rather
than blow. You might consider mounting the impeller pump at the exit,
rather than down low. The other thing to consider is a pump that sits on
the rail (is removable) and a hose that you drag around to "clean" the
bilge. I did this and it was easy to roll the hose up and put it away in a
bag along with the pump.
