Hi all,
In a similar vein, I'm curious if anyone has ever installed a check valve in
the bilge hose just behind the bilge pump. When I've turned the bilge pump
on (FYI the ice box drains into the bilge so there's always melted ice water
there) I can suck that puppy dry but the minute I turn the switch off I get
about a gallon or so flooding back into the bilge. It seems to me a simple
check valve ( is that an oxymoron?) would do the trick but I don't know if
that opens up another can of worms.
