Something that I found that helps re-enter the inflatable is putting handles
down the inboard side of the tube. Place the first one where it easy to
reach from the water with your strong hand, then place the second one where
you can get ahold of it when you are pulling yourself up, so that you can
hold place with your weaker arm and reach for one further in with your
    strong hand.

My large inflatable is about 18 foot, with the largest tubes I've seen on
any inflatable. I have four handles installed, and can reboard now wearing
full scuba stuff. It came with a ladder, but like yours, it just goes
underneath when I try to use it.

I found an inflatable shop that got me the handles and the correct goo to
mate the handles to my hypalon balloon barge. The handles also help me hang
on when using the 40HP outboard :')

    Jim
