I have a similar question. I'm about to add a "get the final drops" bilge
pump, and am wondering how people have done this with success. It will have to
lift about 7 feet. I am thinking of a rubber impeller type pump, with a
suction hose that I can move around to get the last bits. Has anyone done
this with success? Where to direct the final output seems like it would matter
too. I had thought of adding another above the water line through hull
in order to not have it run down inside the the other bilge pump drain lines.
