Kara,
Hi..saw your request on the live-aboard list for
info/advice from other women cruisers/sailors. I have
had my own sailboat (Catalina 27)for 8 years and have
been cruising on/off with my SO for 4 years on our
Morgan 46, Pegasus. We have done mostly coastal and
inshore cruising in NC/SC until last May when we took
a big step and took Pegasus from NC to Bermuda. The
crossing over was fairly rough (a fast passage)but we
had a great time there and a smooth (slower) passage
back. After he retires in a couple of years we will
cruise full time. We have talked about a
trans-Atlantic passage...I am all for it.

Advice from people on this list has been helpful to us
in so many ways. Although I don't have years of
experience as a cruiser, I'll be happy to help you any
way I can.
