lv-ab: Combining Bilge pump discharges

    I have a manual gusher type pump and a Rule 3500 GPM electric. Obviously, I need a small auto/electric pump for sucking up the backflow of the two others and also just for routine rain water from the mast, etc. . . . I don't want to create another thru-hull, and I don't want to get rid of the 3500. Can I combine the two electric pump discharges at the thru-hull with a Y-type connector, or is this taboo?
