The fuses I was referring to are on the output posts of the batteries. So,
the small ones (2 amp) won't have anything to do with it. The large one
(275amp) could be a fuse on the output. If this is the case, then why would
the wires melt prior to the fuse blowing? If this is the case, then the
fuse is simply too big. The fuse should always blow prior to the wire
melting.
