I have a Trace SW2512 (sine wave, 2.5 KW, 12 VDC, $2000) and it has worked
well for me. The only two problems are a two relay rather than three relay
auto generator start (which I don't use anyway) and no battery back-up for
microprocessor settings if you should loose your 12VDC input (pop the input
breaker). The output is not exactly a sine wave, it looks like a Myan
temple. They say pure sine wave is not very efficeint.
