    Before you put the SSB in your raft kit, I'd strongly suggest you get a 406
    MHz EPIRB. Cost is about the same, it will bring in help anywhere in the
    world. No need to monitor it, it's picked up by satelites and relayed. Be
    sure to register it. That cost is $0.00.
