    To all who responded, thanks for your suggestions but they weren't of much
    use to either party.

    The info. I was looking for was a 'ball-park' figure of what this boat
    should be, before going to the cost of the survey which will be carried out
    prior to the final purchase. There is no point in viewing, or even
    attempting an offer, if both parties are going to be insulted.

    Unfortunately I no longer have the book "Desirable and Undesirable
    Characteristics of Cruising Boats" as was suggested by Albert, so if it
    isn't much of a bother, I'd like to take you up on your offer of a copy of
    the pertinent information.
