Hi, hello there,
with my wife (an a newborn) we are thinking in buy a sailboat in F.
Lauderdale zone, probably a cat, and them go to live aboard and, in a time,
cruise the Caribbean... For that reason we sold our house, car, and we are
selling now our 31 feet wooden sailboat (a beauty, with all her bean
varnished... I will miss her wood...)
I need to know if there are marinas who accept live-aboards, and how much it
cost, aprox. I don't need a particular place, it could be all along the
Florida coast... The idea is, in the meantime, to be familiarized with and
preparing the boat before the jump to the islands.
Since I'm a foreigner I don't know the used market there. What do you think
about Prout Catamarans? Which other names could I ask for?
Any 'Don'ts' about the idea?
Thank you very much, I will appreciate your help and advice!
Jose
