First off, I thank you all for the great ideas on what to do and how to
improve the efficiency of the frige. I am going to be looking at this area
of things more closely as we get more into winter, as I am currently looking
at getting the exterior work underway while we still have some warmer
weather to work with. Once I move inside, the refrigerator is going to be a
main area of concentration. Since I "can" do with it as I wish... I've got
a few questions and then I'll move on to some other subjects. G!

What would be considered an "ideal" size for a refrigerator on a boat? I
know, I know, the bigger the better, but I guess I'm more after what is the
smallest "acceptable" size you've found for living aboard?

I suspect I can already guess the answer to this one, but top loading vers
    front loading?

    Refrigeration unit of choice?

110vac, 12vdc, 110vac/12vdc (combination)? Relative merrits to cost?

Back to an earlier question... What is the "best" insulation material to
    use in making an icebox?

Anything else to add about refrigerators??

    Thanks

    John
