    Hi all,

As liveaboards you may have come across the Chagos Islands in the Indian
Ocean. But are you aware of the recent history behind the inhabitants
being thrown off the islands to make way for a US military base?

Our friend will be sailing to the Chagos Islands in a peaceful protest
against the UK government's actions. Despite a high court ruling that
stated the government acted illegally and immorally in evicting the
islanders, and that they were free to return to the islands, they are
still not allowed back. They have the same rights as all British
citizens but do not get anything off the government.

We have developed a website that will record the log of both Cindik and
Musichana as they sail across the Indian Ocean towards the Chagos
islands. Musichana is skippered by one of the original skippers of the
    Rainbow Warrior.

Please take a look at the site, which only went live yesterday, and
pledge your support for the cause. Because you live/sail on the sea we
also encourage you to join The Virtual Navy. The links can be found here:

Thank you for your time and support.
