Lee, What kind of plastic are the windows made of? Plexiglas, Lexan? Peter ----- Original Message ---- From: Lee Haefele <Lee at htva dot net> To: "Live-Aboard at Crux dot Astro. Utoronto. These are mounted in a recessed area in caulk with a 3/8" foam tape backing, no screws or trim. I am looking for a source for Dow Corning 795 caulk, reputed to be the best, but may need to settle for locally available GE Silicone II. Can anyone that has done this before advise me on how the job will go? Will the foam backing tape tear out with the window and need replacement? Any special process to remove the window other than slicing the caulk with a utility knife?
