My son is 16, and has his own boat a San Juan 24 footer, based in
Kenmore, on Lake Washington. He wants to connect with friends in his age
group to enjoy sailing on Lake Washington, Lake Union, and possibly into
    Puget Sound later.

Anyone interested should send email to Ian at

Ian has lived aboard his dad's boat for almost 3 years, and has sailed
north for a month or so every year for the past 7 years. He has had his
own boat for about a year, and crewed on similar race boats last season.
Early in 2007, Ian completed the Washington State safe boating course.
This summer he single-handed his San Juan 24 to Vancouver Canada and
back, with his dad doing the same on the big boat. Ian is a great guy,
    responsible and very safety conscious.

We envision sailing on weekends mostly, until the weather drives us to
other activities. Next summer we will likely sail north again, so
friends may have the opportunity to join us.

Send email if you are interested, we can follow up by phone.

    Fair winds,
    -Neal (Dad).
