lv-ab: charcoal instead of gas

Anyone know of a good charcoal grill
for a sailboat. Google isn't helping and I don't like cooking with gas.

Magma makes the hinged lids only for their gas models. The coal model's
lid hangs on a lanyard and looks like a banging clanging mess waiting
    to happen.

Anyone know of a good coal grill? I have a small sloop and wanted to
    railmount ideally.

Last year I used a no.10 can clamped to the stern rail with some
    strategic holes
drilled (hammered) top and bottom (top because my coffee pan fit
    tightly inside the rim) and
it worked surprisingly well- but not big enough for any good meals.
    Just coffee
    and chowder.

appreciate any tips for good old coal!
