lv-ab: liveaboard in alaska?

Is it possible to liveaboard year round in Juneau, AK? Seems the water doesn't
freeze unless it gets really cold for extended periods. The real estate
market it god awful expensive and I've been thinking about a boat anyway :)

Anyone have experience with that area?
