I read somewhere long ago that someone set up a bicycle generator that his
kids could use to watch a small black/white TV.
I also read the average body runs at about 100 watts.
I suppose the most sustained power/pound human output is the bicycle
athletes they use to fly man-powered aircraft.
Isn't is interesting that the same man, Mr. McCready, helped designed the
lowest/slowest/weakest airplane, the Gossamer Condor, and the
highest/fastest/strongest airplane, the Blackbird?
