Caleb,
Six amps is almost nothing to a pair of T-105s, especially when it is intermittent as when your engine is running. At worst, it would give a little equalizing charge.
I suspect your main problem will be charging them fully, but a couple of sunny days on your 85 watt PV panel with no loads might do it. Keep a good watch with a hydrometer to keep the battery charged and avoid sulphation. I do have an amp-hour meter but the hydrometer is far more reliable.
According to Home Power magazine, the number one cause of premature battery failure is chronic undercharging (the number two cause is chronic overcharging).

Subject: lv-ab: charging from outboard alternator
I just bought a new 03 suzuki 4 stroke (9.9) for my sloop.
she runs nice!~
I called suzuki to get info on the alternator but could get absolutely nothing out
of them. All I can get is that it is a 6 amp output.
I just bought 2 new T105's and want to treat them right. Any experience out there
on charging from an outboard? Any concerns or gotchas? Are these smart alternators
that will ramp down to a float?
I'm installing an 85 watt Kyocera with a 10 amp regulator- so the solar panel and the outboard are going to be
it. I cool with ice so my demands are quite low. approx 20 AH's a day. I have about 100 AH useable from a total
of 220 (two gold carts).
thanks all.
