I just bought a new 03 suzuki 4 stroke (9.9) for my sloop.
she runs nice!~
I called suzuki to get info on the alternator but could get
absolutely nothing out
of them. All I can get is that it is a 6 amp output.
I just bought 2 new T105's and want to treat them right. Any
experience out there
on charging from an outboard? Any concerns or gotchas? Are these
smart alternators
that will ramp down to a float?
I'm installing an 85 watt Kyocera with a 10 amp regulator- so the
solar panel and the outboard are going to be
it. I cool with ice so my demands are quite low. approx 20 AH's a
day. I have about 100 AH useable from a total
of 220 (two gold carts).
