I want to thank everyone for the lighting protection thoughts.
great to hear so many first hand experiences cause lighting is
such a gray area. I'm going to ground the mast with #2 cable
staright down thru the deck mounted mast to a large eyebolt
in the bilge. don't know what this eyebolt is or if it reaches into
the lead, but I'll also use the jumper cables (overboard) from the
shrouds.
