Isn't that just the way! All these energy saving so called "GREEN"
technologies often involves very toxic and nasty production processes.
Example: CCF bulbs use mercury. Much more toxic that what is used to produce
tungsten filament bulbs.
All the electronic controls and equipment to monitor and manage the
electrical energy on board our boats also involves nasty production
processes similar to producing solar panels.
The very sophisticated computer controlled engines involves producing more
pollution during manufacturing than what an older engine would produce
during its service life.
