     Let's see now.
      10 BILLION bucks per year. That's what we are
    currently giving to the oil companies to foster
    "alternative energy research".
     Even assuming 700 bucks per 125 watt Kyocera
    solar panel that would pay for 14,285,714 and a
    fraction panels. Even if we assume only getting
    HALF the rated power for 4 hour a day, that is
    130,357 MEGA watt hours every year.
     I think...
     And that number will be added to the total EVERY
    YEAR!

     So. How much carbon dioxide production would THAT
    eliminate?
    I bet a lot more than the oil companies will ever
    'develop'.
