Actually there is a guy in England who has converted his car to run on
methane which he distills from pig manure. Although he could use
other kinds of manure also. There's a movie or video about it called
"Bates' Car".
My husband bought a used pick-up truck from the local propane place,
and it also had a dual fuel system - gasoline and propane.
