Thanks Captain!
Yes. I've owned 3 restaurants and 2 Push carts (weenie wagons). I still
have one in my garage. I actually enjoy waiting tables and since I have
a cute backside, (so says the Mrs), I get good tips! (Especially in
Key West - wink!) If I could combine food service with boats, I'd be
in hog heaven!
Actually, your tag line got my attention.(Great Web Site - BTW). We
were talking today about me going for my OUPV - 6 pack this summer. I
only have enough hours for Great Lakes, but could get my hours over time
in the Keys. Of course, doesn't everyone in the Keys have at least
their six pac? Maybe we could hang around long enough to get the 100 ton
Master. I really like the idea of eco-tourism, and I've studied toward
building an electric drive flat bottom tour boat ( a 6 pax Bolger
Sneekeasy/ Tennessee design). http://www.ace.net.au/schooner/tenn.htm
I could try and fake being a guide, as I never miss a Spanish Fly (
Jose Wejebe ) on ESPN? Honestly though, if I was a rich man, I'd
dock outside the Schooner Warf Bar and spend the rest of my days there..
at least until it was sold and converted into another fancy-smancy
waterfront boutique. SWB is the only joint we really love in Key West.
No doubt there are other bars that are more like the "old Florida / Keys
" that I wish I would have found earlier in life. We will see!
