Be aware that Florida has (had?) a "capital punishment " tax. That is a
annual tax on your bank, brokerage and other financial assets if over a
certain amount. We got caught by them in the 90's. I hear that the ceiling
has been raised, but check it out if you have any assets worth mentioning.
