    REPLY:

I have just installed a LAVAC Popular on my IP 29.

I have not used it yet, but the fellow who installed it was very impressed
with its simplicity, robust construction, and apparent ease of maintenance.

I chose it because I had a Baby Blake on my Mason 44.

It was the finest head I have ever owned, built like the engine on the night
    train to Edinburgh.

Blake makes both heads, but the Baby Blake is hugely expensive (ca $4,000),
and not sold here in the States.

I am off to Bermuda in late May, and thence to Maine. Išll post a report
    when I return.

    Best.
