Sam is right! I'm going back into debt tomorrow with my 2nd and I hope last
PDQ 36. My wife gets motion sickness with stop and go traffic, has strong
allergys to mold, mildew and pollen and she passed sea trials with flying
    colors.

I must admit, I have found a solution to this problem. Get a PDQ36
catamaran with the Yamahas. In my experience, most of the bad smells can be
attributed to one of the following:

    Stinky Bilge
    Diesel
    Stinky Head
    Pets

The PDQ has retractable outboards for propulsion, therefore no shaft or
stuffing boxes to allow water in the bilge, result bone dry bilge 365 days
    per year. No bilge stink.

Both the fuel tank and head tank are outside the living area of the boat so
there is no smell other than any head smell right at the source.

Keep the mildew down and the boat smells better than most people's houses.

    Oh yeah, no pets.
