    Actually, in my experience as well as many others, it is much easier
    from many perspectives to sail offshore than it is to do coastal
    sailing. That is once you get out of the shipping lanes or away from
    heavy traffic. Yes, getting enough sleep can be a problem, but most of
    the time it is not.-Ken
