I will be posting pictures soon of how our win gen is mounted to the
IPphotos.com website. We had an arch built and had a pole welded on the starboard
side. Our win gen is high above our solar panels. The win gen can be fixed perm
or temp. We have a kill switch in the starboard lazarette. But mainly use
the pull cord to turn the blades out of the wind, then tie them off with
another strap. We took the blades off with using Allen wrenches.
 
We plan to leave the blades on, with the exception of hurricane season. You
can buy the wind gens with or w/o the brake. We chose w/o.
