1. Try it and see. I have used the first transducer I ever installed in
1988 for all four instruments I have had on my boat.
2. Yes. Google wifi antennas and get a high gain antenna to attach to
your friend's wifi and aim it at your boat. You can also get high gain
omnidirectional antennas, 12 DB, for the boat. Also you could attach a
dircetional high gain antenna on a Follow Me mount on your boat.
3. Don't know anything about this one.
