I have read some of the LED comments and thought I would pass this along. I
posted this comment in the January issue of Southwinds:

LED Lights for Navigation Lights Can Put Out the Wrong Color if not Chosen
Correctly
Paul L. Marcuzzo of Fourwinds Enterprises, a company that sells wind
generators and LED lights to boaters, recently noted that some boaters have
mistakenly been buying LED lights to install behind their green-colored lens
navigation light. White LED lights behind a green lens will appear as a blue
light. The LED light itself must be green if it is behind a green lens to
put out a green light.
