Hi Dave,
Thanks for supporting the idea that a 6kW Diesel generator running at
nominal rated speed (1800 rpm) and 1kW load should not wet-stack. I
explained that the coolant temperature would rise and be regulated at the
proper temperature and the electronic fuel metering system would control the
fuel/air ratio accurately and that at least one expert user (that is you)
agrees that there ought not be a problem etc.
Gues what the Army said.......................... NO, NO and NO
Are you related to these people ? :-)
We will cary more fuel, add a 2kW heater, heat the great outdoors and
operate the generator at 50% load.....end of story.
