Dear Ahmet, I'm quite familiar with the history of Raytheon etc.
And the Sports Pilot was marketed for many years under the brand name of
Raytheon.
In Canada Raytheon was distributed by Canadian Marconi Company.
A company with whom I had dealings with back when Loran C was still
considered new.
I have been installing radars and autopilots since 1973.
The same sales guys who provided me with the Raytheon equipment now provide
the Raymarine products.
And yes I am aware that there is a difference between the real Raytheon
military stuff and the consumer Raytheon products.
Saw the real stuff in the Navy.
At my age a decade doesn't seem so long ago. Maybe it does to you.
Cheers
Arild
