Writing to you from Lk Powell
shakedown cruise of 22-ft St.Pierre sailing dory identified some important
areas to remedy
and life/comfort management on board
much fun, much effort
went to The Wave (!) and Buckskin Gulch at Coyote Buttes.... pics soon
and points beyond. magical
orange sorbet sand. i'm surrounded by it now
friday we were having trouble finding moorage for the night! we were in a
deep canyon with sheer walls everywhere...
last night we camped in the boat in the highest deserts, and the boat was
covered in ice by morning
i have to resolve some minor issues before we can take the boat offshore.
Overall, things went great, but as all shakedowns, identified areas for
improvement
