    James,

The pills are simply called "Sciatica Pills". They are little round shiny
pills, about the size of early peas, and contain about 10 kinds of ground
up plant matter. The insert gives the Latin names.

The instructions say to take 30 a day for 15 days. About two weeks after
the MRI confirmed sciatica a massage therapist friend, on a fluke, walked
into a Chinese drug store in Montreal where we were on holiday and asked
them if they had anything for sciatica. They sold her two bottles of the
pills for about $10. I followed the instructions and by the time I had
finished them the pain was all gone.

After that I would take 10 a day along with my daily multivitamin. The
instructions said nothing about maintenance dosage, I just guessed. After
a long time with no pain I just quit taking them. Over the course of years
I would take them only when I had a flare-up. In a few days the pain would
stop and I would stop taking them again.

As time went on the flare-ups became farther apart and less severe. I
cannot remember the last time I took any of the pills.

The last few batches I bought were from: Wing Hop Fung in CA. (866)
    238-1688

They are in bottles of 120 pills in boxes of a dozen bottles. The last
time I bought some I bought three dozen bottles for $122.95

I suggest you buy five bottles. Take 30/day for 15 days (3.75 bottles) and
see if they work, if they do then cut back to 10/day and order more.

Another thing that helps, especially in long car trips or long times in a
chair, is a lumbar pillow to support the lower back.

Please let me know how they work.

For me, they were heaven sent...
