    I had full size Dahon folders for a few years and they were a real pain
    to get on & off and carry on board - they took too much room. I now
    have Dahon's with smaller wheels (18", I think) and they are much easier
    to get on & off and more reasonably sized for storage. I had custom
    bags made for them. They always seem to need some adjustment and
    fiddling with.

    The smaller wheels are fine for exploring around a port, but I would not
    want to go cross country (rougher ride). They are a reasonable
    compromise.

    There are dozens of brands of folders, they are big in England. Some of
    the Dahons (US) are marinized. Try Defender Industries.
