    Oh NO! You didn't leave the plastic covering on!!!

    Oops, I guess you did. :)

    Some of the foam sheets, mostly the thicker 2 to 4 inch slabs, do not have
    this film layer. The ones that do have it are generally used for
    sub-floors or thin wall insulation.

    Sorry to have not warned you about this Gene... I just took it for granted
    that anyone would remove the plastic.
