Hi All,
I now have Nobeltec's Visual Navigation Suite
version 4.1 installed on my computer! :-)
I also have two copies of every raster chart for
the U.S. on my computer.
Both VNS and Seaclear II seem to want the charts
installed in their own folder, thus the
duplication.
I also have learned that it is not a good idea to
'install' that many charts on the VNS program as
it now takes about 10 minutes to start the
program. All I can figure is that VNS catalogs all
installed charts every time you start the program.
Now I will buy the "Master Chart DVD" which has
all the charts sorted into geographical areas.
Then I can just install the charts I will need for
a given voyage and get the program to start up a
little faster...
