I have just looked back over my messages regarding the Melbourne ordinance.
Good grief! What a supercilious, arrogant, self-important person I have
been. Please accept my apology.
I do know a little about drafting and interpreting laws, but the way in
which I presented my modest contribution to the cause was over the line. I
got excited about being a part of an historic effort to turn a very bad
experience by Norm into a positive long-term experience for Norm and all
other cruisers and live-aboards. Excitement is fine, but I got too full of
myself. Sorry. Next time, somebody please send me an e-mail pointing out
that I am being a jerk.
On the other hand, is anyone on the list communicating directly with the
Melbourne officials? If so, may I get in on the conversations?
