    Received a few replies off list on this post. Some say that liability
    insurance can be purchased separately and inexpensively.

    Perhaps some on the list might be interested in where such low cost
    liability insurance might be found.

    I the past It has been my experience that unless you had a house it was not
    available or cost almost as a complete insurance package.

    Sorry, by that measure mine and many other real cruisers have vessels that
    are undesirable.
