I replaced all my cabin lights with Sensibulbs, sold by
www.sailorsolutions.com. Pricy, but they are WARMER then the incandescents
they replaced, and actually brighter!
I have tried several other led solutions and they were to dim and cold for
my liking.

I've started installing the cold cathode style neons in side the cabin.
The white is "warmer" than the white LED lamps I've seen, and they use
even less power. You can pick up a dual 12" set for about $14 including
the driver. They require a High voltage AC source. But it's very low
power, and solid state. I use them for area lighting, and the LEDs for
directional/spots. Great combination.
