I believe that the SSCA has already stated that they
might do that. Now, my question to you and everyone
else on this list is this:
Instead of whining to the list, have you - PERSONALLY
    - written to the Mayor of Melbourne? Have you copied
publications such as Southwind on your views?
    ()
It has been my experience through over 25 years in the
newspaper business that most people who whine never
make their complaints known where they count - with
the decision makers. If you aren't one of the whiners,
good for you. If you are - then get off your duff and
write the mayor, Harry Goode, in Melbourne - all mail
is routed through the City Clerk there,
    <>, so note in the
subject line, attention: Mayor Harry Goode.
Mayor Goode was a local businessman at one time, so he
will understand the economic impact if cruisers choose
not to visit Melbourne. It might interest you to know
that their City letterhead has a sailboat on it!
Now if I could find all this information in five to
ten minutes of looking - does anyone reading this
think it's too onerous a task to take five minutes or
so to make their displeasure known to the City of
Melbourne's mayor? Copy the SSCA and Southwinds mag as
well, they're both interested and include this list so
we can follow what's going on.
Don't tell the SSCA to take a stand - make one of your
    own.
