Come to Palm Bay Norm! It's better than Melbourne anyway.
Plenty of boats anchored out there and nobody bothers
them. Also within the next few months they are going to
start construction on a boardwalk with shops and some
other cool things right on the water in the bay. If you
can make it all of the way into the bay it's also pretty
protected. I live just on the other side of US1 and the
railroad bridge on Turkey Creek so I can be around to help
if you need anything.
There is a public boat ramp behind my house with 2 temp
slips and parking so you could keep your car there or even
park it in the street in front of my house. The dingy
would be fine in one of those slips for a few hours at a
time.
If you needed to have the dingy out longer you could bring
it to my back yard without too much trouble. I have
wheels I use for my paddle boat which would probably work.
