    Bob, we have 4 A/C units on our boat that are a godsend at the dock.
    However in 14 years cruising we virtually never used them underway or at
    anchor. It would be easy to use one or more with both an 8KW and 12 KW
    genset but we just never found the need. At anchor or underway there was
    always enough ventilation that extra cooling was virtually never needed. We
    were cruising East Coast from Bahamas to Chesapeake. If you are deeper in
    the tropics perhaps it may be more of a concern but I thought I would give
    you this input in case you are anticipating a need that doesn't exist.
